Position OverviewProtect the safety and wellbeing of each patron using the Lee College aquatic facilities. Lifeguard will work directly with participants providing courteous, friendly, and professional assistance. This position reports to and is supervised by the Wellness Coordinator.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety of patrons using the Lee College aquatic facilitiesApply all rules and regulations consistentlyCoordinate emergency procedures and provide CPR in emergency situationsMaintain positive relations and rapport with patronsPerform general maintenance/custodial functions as requestedAttend regularly scheduled staff meetings and training
Additional Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMust hold a current Lifeguard Training Certification and CPR for the Professional RescuerPreferred:Previous lifeguard experience
