OverviewNext 150 Construction, a full owned sibsidiary of Gilbane is seeking a
Site Services Director
for the New England and Mid Atlantic Divisions. This exciting new position will report into the VP of Next 150 Construction and will be responsible for executing the strategic plan, developing baseline operations and training for Site Services for both regions.
Responsibilities
Meet the established Revenue and Net Income goals established for assigned geography
Adhere to People Leader Expectations and lead by example with Core Values. Model efforts for Inclusion and Diversity.
Oversee and coordinate overall Operations including Safety for ALL Site Services – skilled craft; equipment and consumables; and temporary facilities and services. Drive profit plan to achieve overall business performance. Serve as key partner to local functions/departments in assigned geography to ensure connectivity.
Cultivate and maintain key relationships with Gilbane Building Company local core leadership teams and external partners. Coordinate and integrate with internal and external partners.
Build, manage and hold teams accountable for performing at expected levels.
Participate in business development efforts, including early coordination with Gilbane Building Company’s business development team on pursuits. Act as subject matter expert in the pursuit process, advise on sell strategy, and ensure immediate follow-up on process upon award.

Direct Connection with Operations Managers, Executive (Project / Construction), Project Teams
Participate in estimating process in conjunction with Gilbane Building Company Core Leadership / Project Teams
Direct Connection with Operations/Support Operations Managers, Executives (Project / Construction), Project Teams
Collaborate with Gilbane Building Company Core Leadership Teams to ensure flawless execution on projects.
Direct Connection with Operations Managers, Executives (Project / Construction), Project Teams
Responsible for workforce planning in assigned geography, including predictive workforce planning for new market entry
Responsible for managing risk in assigned geography
Responsible for billings, collections, forecasting and planning for all work in assigned geography
QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
10-15 years experience at self performing trade or general contractor with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Experience working in a union environment (preferred)
BS or MS degree in Construction Management (preferred)
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong technical and communication skills are critical
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to form and maintain cross functional relationships with Next 150 and local client leadership
Leadership and management skills
Proven track record of commitment to building inclusive teams and work environments
Travel required up to 50%
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.For Connecticut and Rhode Island this ranges from $173,500-$238,600 plus benefits and retirement program.For Massachusetts this ranges from $193,400-$265,900 plus benefits and retirement program.
For New York City this ranges from $211,000 - $290,000 plus benefits and retirement program.
