Duties:
Draft and prosecute patent applications related to cutting-edge technologies in life sciences.
Conduct patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
Support IP due diligences, patent litigations, and post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences).
Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters in the life sciences field.
Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop strategic solutions.
Take on significant responsibility in legal research and analysis.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of substantive experience in intellectual property law.
Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S.) in biological sciences.
Registration to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Admission to a State Bar, preferably in Massachusetts.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Superior academic background.
