ASG is CMMI Level 3 certified for Development and Services, and holds ISO certifications 9001:2015, 20000-1:2011, and 27000:2015.Job DescriptionASG is seeking senior Platform DevOps Engineers in support of our new government program delivering innovative software solutions for our customer the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). You will work on leading-edge integration solutions to meet the mission. Work with USCIS clients to provide creative though practical technical solutions to various challenging problems to enhance their mission capabilities.What You Will DoUse the latest cloud technologies to improve our client's container environments to ensure seamless orchestration.Use technical knowledge and experience working directly with our clients to recommend strategy and design ensuring standards are met throughout the Amazon Web Services (AWS) containerization process.Improve upon existing orchestrations and pipelines to ensure the most efficient methods.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsWhat We Need:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or other STEM related field. In lieu of degree, will consider combination of training, certifications, and years of experience.Minimum of eight (8) years of experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration.Deep technical knowledge in AWS core areas such as cloud-native automation and DevOps solutions.Experience with architecting and deploying applications on AWS.Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies in AWS.Experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.Experienced with AWS Fargate, ECS, AWS RDS (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and AWS Aurora.Experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines.Experience with scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in AWS.Experience with managing Git-based version control systems.Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, monitoring and testing, and continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).Experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in Cloud environments, including AWS.Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.Experience with open technologies, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Jenkins, and Git.Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML.Experience with managing personal project priorities and deliverables.Experience with supporting cloud applications or infrastructure.Experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.CertificationsCloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification.Even BetterJava development experience.Knowledge of DHS/USCIS domain.Clearance LevelPosition of Public TrustDHS EOD (Enter on Duty) SuitabilityU.S. Citizenship is required.Additional InformationAt ASG, we value diversity and always treat all employees and job applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent.
