ASG is CMMI Level 3 certified for Development and Services and holds ISO certifications 9001:2015, 20000-1:2011, and 27000:2015.Job Description:The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet user needs and security standards. This role requires coding, testing, and integrating software solutions in a collaborative environment.The Program objective encompasses the full lifecycle range of Internal Business Programs Operation and Maintenance support for DISA Internal Business Applications. Operations and Maintenance (O&M) shall include designing, developing, configuring, testing, migrating, operating/maintaining, and securing Internal Business Applications. It also encompasses supporting ongoing operations and implementing upgrades with government provided hardware and software.This also includes support for changes to the hosting facilities such as moving applications and databases from DISA J9 HaC to STRATUS Cloud, and Joint Warfighters Cloud Capabilities (JWCC); provide technical support for application development, migration, integration, and sustainment and provide Risk Management Framework (RMF) support. Additionally, the scope of this effort shall include providing IT Internal Application II/III Service Desk Support, Task Order Administration, Developing Updating Documentation, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development/enhancement, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), System Administration, Internal Architecture, Configuration/Attributes Management, Database Administration, Security Engineering, and System Integration across all of DISA Internal Business Application Support platforms.What You Will Do:Develop software applications using Java, Python, or other programming languages.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.Support the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components.RequirementsWhat We Need:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.3+ years of experience in software development.Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile.Even Better:Experience with cloud-based development environments.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and secure coding techniques.Clearance Level:Active DoD Secret ClearanceAdditional Information:At ASG, we value diversity and always treat all employees and job applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent.
