Job Description
A family law and civil litigation office is searching for a tech-savvy Employment Attorney to join their team in a remote position. The firm is based out of Cupertino, CA and requires attendance to court in San Francisco, so candidates must be located within the Bay Area. They are looking for someone with at least 5 years of employment law under their belt to manage a full caseload while providing weekly updates and maintaining excellent communications. Pay Range: $125,000 - $200,000 DOE
Responsibilities
Represent clients in court, primarily in the San Francisco area, for employment law and civil rights casesManage a caseload of 20-30 clients, providing weekly updates and maintaining excellent communicationConduct depositions, serve as an expert witness, and review and approve discovery documents.Oversee paralegals in discovery and calendaringEnsure high levels of client satisfaction
Requirements
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAt least 5 years of experience in employment lawActive membership in the California State BarExperience in civil rights, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, whistleblower cases, and some plaintiff experienceExperience in state and federal courts, with trial and pre-trial litigation preferredMust be tech-savvy and proficient in CRM systems like My Case and communication tools like Ring CentralExceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of effective follow-up and client engagementDemonstrated ability to manage a significant caseload while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and meeting firm standardsMust live in the Bay Area of California, to facilitate court appearances and client meetings
