The Finance Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial health and stability of iMMAP Inc., working with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on priorities including but not limited to accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, annual audits, NICRA negotiations, payments and banking, and contracts and grants financial management. The Finance Director ensures compliance with funder regulations as well as iMMAP’s internal policies and procedures and provides timely reports and guidance to staff to ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively. The Finance Director works to ensure revenue collection, expense management, budget oversight, reporting, and compliance in accordance with industry standards as well as leading the annual budgeting process, manage all financial reporting systems, manage accounts payable and receivable, our external payroll service, our external audit, and manage other Finance Department staff.Reporting Structure

The Finance Director reports directly to the CEO and is expected to be a cooperative team member, effectively collaborating with other senior executives across various departments (Human Resources, Operations, Business Development, Country Directors, Security, Communications, etc.) to drive the overall performance and success of iMMAP Inc.Important Notice :

This position is hybrid and requires regular visits to the D.C. Office.

Description of Duties

Serve as a member of iMMAP Senior Management Team in charge of evaluating organizational needs and implementing strategies to increase efficiencies and growth both in the headquarters office and in field offices in accordance with iMMAP policies, procedures, and funder regulations.Supervise other finance staff and outsourced Accounting Services firm.Guide project directors in interpretation of and compliance with award regulations including but not limited to 2 CRF Uniform Guidance 200, FAR, USAID ADS, and AIDAR.Review overall budgets and costing for all awards.Act as business liaison with grantors and other funding and partner agencies.Review and submit financial reports in compliance with United States government and other funder regulations and requirements.Generate and submit annual FBAR and Host Government Tax Reports.Oversee set up and maintenance of domestic and international lease agreements for all operations.Review and approve field office fund requests.Support organization wide evaluation of RFPs.Review the completed business proposals for completeness, competitiveness, and profitability.Generate organization annual budget, financial analysis, funding scenarios and projections for internal and external use.Serve as liaison to the Audit and Investment Committee of the Board.Manage the annual 2 CFR 200 Part F Single Audit of the organization and preparation of the Form 990.Provide oversight of procurement of goods and services in compliance with funder requirements and internal policies and procedures.Develop and submit organization's annual indirect cost proposal and negotiate final rates.Oversee monthly bank reconciliations, vendor invoices, and cash flow reports.Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required. A CPA, MBA or advanced degree is preferred.8 to 10 years of experience managing the financial operations of an organization and/or network operating international programs.At least 5 to 7 years of experience leading audit preparation, accounting and reporting as well as strategic financial analysis and forecasting.At least 5 to 7 years of experience building and managing effective finance work teams.At least 5 to 7 years of experience in contract and grants management and accounting.Knowledge of contract and grant management policies and procedures is required.Demonstrated experience and skill with budget preparation and analysis, financial reporting preparation and presentation and the proven ability to translate technical financial data into informative reports.Knowledge of applicable federal government regulations to include 2 CFR 200, FAR, and AIDAR, and understanding of standard contract clauses is necessary.Proficiency with Microsoft Office package, database and accounting application systems, preferably MIP, required; proficiency with other specialist software applications, desirable.Ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently, well-organized, and able to work under pressure and meet frequent deadlines.Must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and solid financial data analysis skills; strong experience in identifying and addressing problems.Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people from diverse backgrounds and team building.Prior management experience and strong organizational skills.Excellent oral and written English skills.French or Arabic skills a plus.Personnel is expected to conduct itself in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and iMMAP’s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all countries.iMMAP has zero-tolerance for sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse, human trafficking, child abuse and exploitation.
