Director of Retail Operations

We have an open opportunity for a Director of Retail Operations, to join the Retail team, based in our office in Sugar Land, Texas. Reporting to the Vice President, Retail Operations, the Director of Retail Operations is responsible for the planning, guidance, and daily execution of the retail operations processes within the customer order-to-cash lifecycle. This position will manage the day-to-day activities of the Operations department, working with both external vendors and internally integrated departments.Roles and Responsibilities:

Directing the pre-deal and post-deal operations responsibilities for commercial and industrial retail electricity customersEvaluating efficiency and effectiveness of operations team and systemsEnsuring proactive review of customer enrollments, drops, billing, and exceptions handlingEnsuring timely and effective communication with customers and brokers/consultantsParticipating in setting, maintaining, tracking, and reporting KPIsDirecting close coherence and contributing to the company’s operations policies and proceduresEvaluating and recommending systems and products necessary to provide accurate and effective operations activitiesElevating team performance by coaching, helping operations team to expand and polish skill sets and capabilitiesOther duties as identifiedJob Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred7 to 10 years of experience leading core operational teams in Retail EnergyProven leadership and coaching abilitiesEffective critical thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to independently research and communicate resolution of complex issuesDetail oriented, organized, and comfortable to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience in quantitative analysis of dataExhibit a professional demeanor that aligns with CPV core valuesExperience in PJM is preferredExperience with understanding and billing complex products is preferredExperience in new market entry is preferredExperience with M&A integrations is preferredMust pass a pre-employment criminal background check and financial credit checkCPV holds all employees to the highest ethical standards and is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and honesty to ensure our success.
