Texas Or Florida Verizon LocationsWe are seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist AI/ML Engineer who is passionate about leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems.Responsibilities
AI/ML Model Development:
Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to improve the detection, prediction, and resolution of incidents and anomalies within our systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.
Data Analysis and Preprocessing:
Conduct thorough analysis of large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.Develop data preprocessing pipelines to ensure the quality and relevance of data used for training and testing AI/ML models.
Integration with SRE Tools:
Integrate AI/ML models seamlessly into existing SRE tools and technologies to enhance predictive analytics and automated incident response.Collaborate with Full Stack Developers to implement user interfaces that facilitate interaction with AI/ML-driven features.
Continuous Monitoring and Improvement:
Implement continuous monitoring of AI/ML models in production to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.Iterate and enhance models based on real-world performance and feedback from SRE teams.
Collaboration with SRE and DevOps Teams:
Work closely with SREs and DevOps engineers to understand system architecture and identify areas where AI/ML can optimize performance and reliability.Collaborate on the development of tools and technologies that align with SRE principles and best practices.
Experimentation and Innovation:
Stay current with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and propose innovative solutions to solve complex problems.Conduct experiments and A/B testing to evaluate the impact of AI/ML enhancements on system reliability.
Requirements
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.Solid understanding of statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).Knowledge of SRE principles and practices is a strong advantage.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Benefits
