Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Software Development, including embedded processors and applicationsHaving wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (i.e., dept/peer review)Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsExercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsInternal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectivesDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other personnelDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)Education And Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Software or Electrical EngineeringMaster’s degree preferred8-12 years related engineering experienceExtensive Experience with sensor interfaces and data acquisition systemsStrong Experience with Communications Protocols (TCP/IP), Serial, USB, etc.Demonstrated excellence in analytical, problem-solving and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to lead others and deliver resultsObject oriented programming in Java or C++Python scriptingWeb application frameworksLinux development environmentsGit, redmine and reviewboardJob Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

Proficient with all development toolsExcellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skillsSupervisory Responsibilities:
