:Having broad expertise or unique knowledge in subsea vehicles, their systems, and operational environments, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.Leads projects and investigations with other technical members and resources. Able to manage tasking, schedule, and reporting using established procedures to appropriate stakeholders.Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Contacts pertain to significant matters often involving coordination among groups.Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.Participates in review and provides feedback and/or guidance to other members or project leaders within the engineering teamDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a "US Person" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)Candidate must be able and willing to procure a clearance as requiredEducation and Experience
:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in Systems EngineeringMaster’s degree preferredPrevious Technical or Functional Leadership preferred8-12 years related engineering experienceDemonstrated excellence in analytical, problem-solving and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and work with others across departments to deliver resultsJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
:Proficient with development tools (Cad, FEA and other ME, EE and SW related tools, etc.)Excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skillsAbility to achieve goals while working within the company procedures, process’
and policies.Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations related to the industrySupervisory Responsibilities
