Job Summary

ETS-Lindgren, a subsidiary of ESCO Technologies, seeks a highly motivated, talented, and experienced leader to serve as its Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) at its Cedar Park, Texas global headquarters. Reporting directly to the ETS-Lindgren Group President and functionally to the ESCO Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the VP HR provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization’s HR function and operations. The VP HR is responsible for setting, evolving, and executing compliant human resources policies, programs, and practices to identify and implement long-range strategic talent management goals that enable business success and growth.Responsibilities

Leadership

Serve as a trusted leadership advisor to the Group President and Leadership Team peersCollaborate with the Group President and leadership team peers to monitor and evolve the organization’s long-term mission and goalsEnable company mission through a robust talent management strategy aligned with the overall ESCO strategy and valuesPartner with senior leadership to understand and develop the organization's goals and strategy for staffing, talent acquisition, and retentionEngage the workforce to steward and evolve ETS-Lindgren’s cultureDrive robust talent review and succession planning efforts to accelerate the development of the internal talent pipeline while cultivating an external talent poolManage and evolve mentoring, skills development, and other key HR programs to support people and company strategyProvide speedy resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues in partnership with corporate centers of excellenceSupervisory

Provide exceptional leadership of the HR function selecting, motivating, coaching, and developing team members in their career growth and progressionDirectly manage 4 US-based and indirectly manage 3 Finland- and China-based HR professionalsOversee and adjust as necessary the daily workflow and priorities of the HR functionIdentify key performance indicators for the organization’s HR function; assess the organization’s success and market competitiveness based on these metricsTechnical

Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs partnering with corporate centers of excellenceEnsure compliance with employment-related laws, regulations, and requirementsMaintain core knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent managementUnderstand and leverage HR data and analytics to derive insights that inform the people strategyServe as the organization’s Global Ethics Officer liaising with the Corporate Ombudsman, CHRO, and General CounselParticipate in professional development and networking conferences and eventsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferredExperience working in and/or with manufacturing environmentsExperience with global organizations with multiple international locationsAt least 15 years of progressive human resource management experience required, with strategic, talent management, and/or business development experience highly preferredOther Requirements
