Seeking a full-time BC/BE urologist as a clinician educator to work at our Newport Hospital campus.
Brown Urology is a faculty practice group affiliated with The Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University and a member of Brown Physicians, Inc. (BPI) with offices in Providence and Newport, RI and Attleboro, MA. Our mission is to provide outstanding patient care, exceptional medical education, and groundbreaking advances in research to promote better health for the people of Rhode Island and its surrounding communities.
This position provides inpatient care at Newport Hospital and in the ambulatory setting. Newport Hospital has received Magnet designation and enjoys an inclusive, collaborative work culture with engaged interdisciplinary teams. As Brown Urology expands throughout the state, the Newport practice is critical to allow access to the highest quality of urologic care.

Competitive salary with RVU production model guaranteed for two years.Pay for call compensation.Opportunity for research and an academic appointment.Access to main campus support for tertiary cases (Da Vinci)General surgery and OBGYN colleagues on site.Excellent, comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, 403(b), 401(a) and 457 retirement plans.Generous PTO; CME reimbursement with five additional PTO days.Malpractice coverage.Exploring plan DaVinci robot on site and recruitment of second urologist, APP, and potential resident support.Current admissions go to the hospital service with the urologist/APP serving as consultants. However, this may change as the service grows.Office on hospital campus within walking distance.
