As Form Energy transforms the grid, we are seeking a talented and experienced hands-on in-house attorney to join our growing legal team. This role reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel. You will be responsible for handling a variety of legal transactions with a focus on our business and commercial operations.You will play a central role in scaling legal support at Form Energy to the next level as we expand and grow. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator possessing strong attention to detail, energized by a wide array of day-to-day legal issues in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do
Serve as a key legal point of contact to our Business Operations teams and work closely with business partners to draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including NDAs, supply chain agreements, commercial transactions, strategic partnership, and vendor and professional services agreements.Drive agreements to completion while working cross-functionally and soliciting input, feedback and approvals from business stakeholders as appropriate.Support an extremely fast-moving business with tight deadlines while providing diligent and exemplary work product.Own, improve and/or develop contract processes, policies, procedures and templates to allow our team to scale.Support the development of policies, procedures, and training to support a global business.Perform special projects and other legal responsibilities as assigned by the General Counsel and your manager to meet the company’s business needs.What You'll Bring
At least six years of relevant experience as a transactional lawyer, which can consist of a combination of work at a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in the energy industry.JD from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state Bar in good standing.Can-do attitude, sense of ownership, and dedication to excellent client service.High emotional intelligence and excellent written and oral communication skills.Sound practical and business judgment with a focus on effectively minimizing risks while achieving business objectives.Proven track record of learning quickly, taking initiative, working proactively and collaboratively, being resourceful and taking on additional responsibility as the need arises.Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop creative and pragmatic solutions for complex and evolving issues in a rapidly changing environment.A willingness to provide and receive feedback.Demonstrates consistently good judgment and impeccable integrity.Consistently good judgment, an unmatched work ethic, impeccable integrity, and a team-first attitude.Besides joining a community of people working to make the world better, Form Energy commits to you equitable compensation, stock options, and offers a generous benefits package to make sure you have the support you need to thrive.We cover 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependent premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.
