Financial Reporting Manager
to join our team!How you will contribute to STORE’s mission:
The Financial Reporting Manager will work closely with the VP-Financial Reporting and is responsible for the preparation and review of periodic financial statements for internal and external use. Responsibilities include review of various work papers and supporting schedules, detailed report tie outs and ensuring filings and documentation are complete, accurate and complies with SEC, GAAP and Fair Value reporting guidelines. This role will also assist with the monthly fair value reporting, work closely with external consultants and liaise with ownership accounting departments and other functions. Individual will also assist with ongoing documentation, monitoring and maintenance of the company’s control environment and coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to control testing, quarterly reviews and annual audits.What Will Make You Successful (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance6+ years of financial accounting experience with public accounting firm and/or industry experienceLicensed CPA preferredFair value accounting experience preferredDemonstrated and proven success in application of US GAAPSEC financial reporting experience preferredStrong knowledge of internal controls and SOX complianceExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailHighest level of integrityWorks well under pressure of deadlinesStrong computer skills, experience with MS Office including advanced Excel knowledgeWhat Most Days Will Include (Primary Duties)
Assist with the preparation and review of external and internal financial reports including audited financial statements and footnotes and SEC filings, including Form 10-K and 10-QPrepare various work papers and supporting schedules relative to the Company’s periodic SEC reportsReview tie out of periodic SEC reports, including form 10-K and 10-QAssist in the management of the XBRL tagging filing process for Forms 10-K and 10-QAssist in the facilitation and support of independent annual audits and quarterly reviews of the Company’s financial recordsAssist in the preparation of monthly fair value financial reporting packages including direct coordination with external consultants and key members of ownership accounting managementAssist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal financial packagesPrepare and review various financial analyses for managementWork cross-functionally and assist with ad-hoc projects with key stakeholders and other team membersSupervise, mentor and support senior financial reporting accountantWhat’s In STORE For You (Benefits & Perks)
