What Will You Be Doing?Lead corporate contract negotiations (such as sales and vendor contracts) and offer diverse legal services, ensuring risk reduction and business optimization while prioritizing business objectives as requested.Collaborate closely with internal teams to finalize sales contracts, requests for proposals, and sales materials, while fostering seamless partnerships.Master intricate technology agreements, encompassing software licensing, hosted services, and strategic alliances with key vendors.Guarantee compliance with statutory, regulatory, and industry-standard requisites, upholding corporate governance.Facilitate due diligence, negotiate documents, and facilitate complex transaction closures.Research, analyze, and deliver concise legal briefs to leadership and external counsel, addressing complex issues.Cultivate strategies to avert potential legal challenges and support avoidance measures.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:Education / Certification:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school is required.Law firm experience is preferred but not required.Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada. Or if licensed in another state, must obtain the state of Nevada in-house Counsel admission.

Job Knowledge / Minimum Work Experience:3+ years of relevant law firm and/or corporate legal department experience in commercial, transactional, or finance law; casino gaming experience preferred.Significant experience drafting contracts.Demonstrated success in business counseling and risk mitigation.Experience working constructively and persuasively with business leaders.

Computer / Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to learn and become proficient in new software applications.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - $145,000 annually.
