Purpose of RoleThe Senior Product Owner will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction of our suite of products, including Vision, Asset Management, Delivery IoT (DIoT), and Visual Object Recognition (VOR). They are responsible for delivering both customer value and value to Rehrig, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed the needs of our customers while also aligning with our business objectives.

Areas Of Accountabilities

Lead, inspire, and support cross-functional, agile teams: As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead your team in delivering customer value through our suite of products. This involves inspiring and supporting your team throughout the product development process.Communicate vision, plans, objectives, and progress: You will articulate the vision for each product, communicate plans and objectives to stakeholders, and track and report on progress against these objectives.Understand system users and user experiences: A deep understanding of our users and their experiences with our products is crucial. You will use this knowledge to inform product development and ensure we are creating products that truly meet the needs of our users.Strong planning, organization, and collaborative skills: You will plan and organize product development efforts, working collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders within the organization.Manage the product backlog: You will be responsible for prioritizing, ordering product backlog items based on the product roadmap, and ensuring effective management of the product backlog.Work together with scrum master and technical leads to groom backlog and plan sprints: Collaborating closely with the scrum master and technical leads, you will work to groom the backlog and plan sprints, ensuring efficient and effective product development.Interact and coordinate efforts with other teams: You will interact and coordinate efforts with other teams within the organization, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.Continually collaborate with teams, handle the product line lifecycle, and manage the product: You will be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial concept through development, launch, and eventual product retirement.Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is requiredStrong combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and leadership abilities.Extensive understanding of product management principles, Agile methodologies, and familiarity with technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning.Proficiency in using project management tools like Jira and delivering products in a SaaS model are highly desirable.Excellent communication and negotiation skills are also necessary to act as the liaison between various stakeholders including the development team, consultants, sales, and customers.A proven track record in a similar product ownership role, ideally within a technologically driven industry, is preferred.Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Product Manager (CPM) is desirable.Ability to travel 25% - 30%.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Rehrig Pacific, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000 - $150,000.
