As servant leaders, we lead by example.The Director of IT Operations will be responsible for executing and improving all IT operations at Rehrig Pacific Company, to include all aspects of the computing and network infrastructure, end user support, and core enterprise security controls. The ideal candidate will instill a culture of service within the organization, provide thought leadership to improve the speed, quality and efficiency of support & infrastructure operations. This position reports to the Director of Information Security & IT.Areas of Accountabilities

Strategically improve the practice of IT across the disciplines for infrastructure delivery and support, end user computing, and user support:Delight our customers by identifying mechanisms to consistently improve service delivery and reduce the number of issues requiring human intervention through the innovative use of technology and improving the usability of end user tools.Oversee and facilitate the various ITIL practices for Rehrig Pacific to cover change management, incident management, root cause analysis and problem management with a view to bring stability to the operating environment and to minimize the number of unplanned outages and failures caused by human error.Facilitate cross functional collaboration to reduce mean time to resolution and improve the overall customer experience.Oversee the functions of User Support, IT Operations, and Infrastructure & Security Engineering:Drive the development and operational execution of a strategic roadmap to ensure the infrastructure, security and end user computing needs for Rehrig Pacific are met proactively and capabilities effectively allow for the delivery of advanced technologies for Enterprise Solutions supporting the internal functions of Rehrig and New Product Development supporting technology products developed for external customer use.Oversee the execution of operational support for end-user computing, infrastructure, and security while driving the team to delight our customers in attitude, speed of response and efficacy of resolution.Collaborate with the Enterprise Solutions group, the Enterprise Architect, IT PMO and IT Product Owners to ensure delivery of ongoing operations, support, and strategic project work is comprehensive and meets best practices to ensure on-time delivery.Become a trusted advisor to key stakeholders across the organization:Build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to improve continuity of service.Develop an understanding of business needs, staying abreast of industry and Rehrig Pacific strategic aims to ensure the viability of support structures and team resourcing.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field or industry.Minimum of 5 years of systems or software architect responsibilities in enterprise environments.In-depth knowledge of system development lifecycle and networking required.Demonstrated proficiency with virtualized server environments, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS products, and modern multi-site networks required.Demonstrated business acumen and communication skills to develop strong partnerships with business leaders required.Minimum of 10 years managing multiple teams with cross-functional skillsets for technology delivery in an enterprise.Experience using Project Management concepts and methodologies required.Experience with Agile processes preferred.Willing to travel approximately 20% of the time.Rehrig Pacific Company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
