Software Technician - III

The successful candidate will join the platform device driver engineering team, with specific responsibilities related to testing, debugging, and benchmarking new driver software. In addition, the candidate will perform test, data collection, and data analysis related to performance and experience on target driver platforms.
Acceptable candidates must possess extensive knowledge of PC based system including how to assemble and debug modern Intel architecture bases system including installing operating systems, debugging driver and hardware issues.
The candidate must be able to assemble a computer system from scratch as well as understand the details of reconfiguration systems with hardware, BIOS changes, and OS feature enabler.
Knowledge and experience of GitHub and scripting are required.
The candidate must have a good understanding of Windows and Linux operating system. Experience and ability to use high speed test equipment and software benchmark tools are required. Experience with pre-silicon test environment including simulation and emulation is a plus.
The candidate must also have at least 3 years of test execution experience - execute software test cases against Intel product baseline and industry performance benchmark
Minimum requirements bachelor degree with 5 years of software working experience Shift Hours
