Senior Financial Analyst

This high-impact role at Sunrun might be for you.We are looking for a highly quantitative thinker with a passion for financial analysis and complex financial models. The role sits in our corporate Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team and specializes in our proceeds and pricing models, in addition to providing corporate finance support. The person in this role will work closely with our colleagues on other teams, such as project finance, pricing, and treasury. Ultimately, this position can lead to a more senior position within SF&A or across Sunrun.Location: Our team members are located throughout the western US, particularly near our offices in San Francisco, CA, Lehi, UT, and Denver, CO. Exceptional east-coast candidates will be considered. Periodic travel for meetings is required.RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop deep understanding of the financial details of our solar financing portfolios, incorporating those details into Anaplan models and Google sheetsDevelop deep understanding of our pricing strategies, incorporating into AnaplanFluidly model and explain the impacts of financing and pricing changes on the net present value of a customerBuild and maintain financial models in our Anaplan toolPerform ad hoc financial analyses to support corporate decision-makingProvide robust reporting to support our monthly actuals analysis and forecasting, our quarterly earnings release, and annual budgeting processesSupport the creation of executive presentations for regular reportingSupport other SF&A business areas as neededQUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree with top grades in a quantitative disciplineRigorous coursework in finance and accounting4-7 years experience in finance &/or accounting, preferably in a combination of internal roles in large companies and external financial advisory roles (Big4, I-banking)Deep knowledge in finance and accounting for large organizations with complicated financial structuresHighly analytical brain, as evidenced by education, past roles, & achievementsPassion for financial analysis and financial modelingHigh attention to detailAptitude for programming that is translatable to AnaplanExcellent written & verbal communication skillsCollaborative team playerComfort with fast-paced, demanding environmentImpeccable judgment & ethicsPREFERRED

Work experience in Finance (FP&A, investment banking, consulting, Big Four)Work experience in a large companyExperience in solar financeExperience in Anaplan or similar planning toolExperience in Tableau, Oracle, SalesForceProgramming experience*Pay is associated to where you reside and can vary state to state*
