Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst will support their finance and development teams in structured finance, budgeting, analyzing M&A opportunities, and maintaining and refining the company’s financial model suite.Essential Responsibilities
Support the project finance team in closing tax equity, debt, and other financing transactions for utility scale wind and solar projects, which may entail:Understanding and auditing complex financial models, development budgets, committee meetings, and Board of Directors reportsPreparing marketing materials for wind and solar projectsPreparing and managing a virtual data-room to provide investors access to due diligence materialsManaging the due diligence process and liaising with internal and external subject matter expertsMaintain and refine the company’s financial model suite including:Ensuring model results, modeling intent, and business terms are in agreementCreating new models, or new functionality within existing models, as requiredWork with Controller and development teams to update, reconcile and maintain projectSupport the preparation of financial analyses for M&A opportunitiesPrepare financial analyses and presentations for senior management, investmentClosely follow industry trends and competitors, including deal flow and transactionsQualifications, Knowledge, And Experience
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field2-4 years of project finance transactional experience in a quantitative role within the renewable energy fieldOutstanding analytical and financial modeling skills, including partnership flip tax equity financing structuresExcellent presentation and communication skillsSalary, Benefits and Location
Salary dependent on Experience and Qualifications ($110K-$120K)An attractive bonus earning plan (10-15%)401k with company contributionHealth and Dental insuranceEmployer-Paid Life insuranceFlex PTO policyPreferred location is Minnetonka, MN.
