They are currently seeking local candidates for their industrial construction projects across the United States.

Position Overview:This team is seeking a Senior Mechanical or Senior Chemical Engineer to lead the engineering design deliverables of assigned projects. This role encompasses technical leadership, project management, and detailed design work for new and existing projects requiring process facility development. The successful candidate will possess exceptional technical and project management skills and will be responsible for developing, empowering, and engaging teams to solve meaningful problems and develop innovative solutions that drive customer value.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare and modify P&IDs, as well as design plant and equipment configuration, in conjunction with other disciplines and customer directives.Prepare and modify construction specifications related to all mechanical equipment and associated equipment.Interpret design requirements and provide innovative engineering solutions while incorporating safety, cost-effectiveness, and serviceability concepts.Perform load calculations with industry software.Interpret and provide technical expertise in the various codes governing design and plant operations, including but not limited to, SMACNA, ASHRAE, OSHA, ICC, and NFPA, etc.Conduct field verifications, prepare technical narratives related to the scope of work and operational specifications.Provide management and other project stakeholders with information regarding project status and possible design conflicts.Mentor and guide junior engineering staff.Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical EngineeringAt least 8 years of Mechanical or Chemical Engineering experience.Professional Engineering license with the ability to gain reciprocate licenses in other states.Proficiency in design and calculation software.Knowledge of industry standards and accompanying policies and procedures.Exceptional team skills with the ability to communicate up as well as across the organizationKey Competencies:
