The position is for an Intellectual Property/Transactions Attorney in the Space Legal department providing legal support to multiple organizations within the Space business area. Reporting to the Space General Counsel, Intellectual Property, the position may provide support across all Space programs and functional organizations.
Position Requires Collaboration Across Legal Department, As Follows:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating general business and intellectual property related agreements and terms and conditions, including contract and subcontract terms and conditions, university agreements, non-disclosure agreements, joint development agreements, and technology and software licenses.Advising management and other in-house clients on all manner of business and intellectual property issues.Advising U.S. Government programs on data rights matters, including intellectual property protection strategies.Advising on general legal and intellectual property matters for mergers and acquisitions.Participation in the management of patent and trademark portfolios and advising the business area on protection strategies and patent prosecution matters.Supporting intellectual property related litigation matters.Preparing and presenting employee business and intellectual property related trainings.MUST BE A US CITIZEN
