This role is challenging – above and beyond the day-to-day responsibilities, you’ll have a big role within a fast-paced team. The challenge doesn’t come without reward; you’ll have the opportunity grow your career while building a world-class team.
This position will report into one of the founding partners .
What you get to do every day:Drive performance management tied to key metrics/KPIs/business drivers that provide a forward-looking view into trends requiring management decisions and actionImprove the quality, timeliness, and reliability of financial analysis and key performance metrics available to executive management and the Board, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation in all functional areas.Oversee the enterprise level budget process, and the consolidation and synthetization of brand level budgets into a consolidated financial plan.Automate processes and systems to achieve efficiency gains and quality improvements on a sequential basis.Support capital raising by anticipating due diligence requests, gathering and synthesizing data from brand and platform groups, and presenting data in an articulate manner that supports company narrativeDevelop long term plans and strategies to position the company for a successful IPO (~4 year goal)Attract, retain and promote individuals suited to operate in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.What you bring to the role:Is “hands-on,” and knows the business KPIs/issues coldHas 10+ years of executive level finance experience leading an organization through time-sensitive and stressful initiatives such as acquisitions, divestitures, and financings/IPOs.Has worked at a *successful* ecommerce/retail, or fintech company.Isn’t afraid of legacy systems (we often acquire old companies with legacy systems).Does not mind travel.What’s in it for you?Unlimited PTO for salaried employeesMedical/Dental/Vision and a variety of supplemental policies availableCompany 401K matchCompany Health Spending Account (HSA) matchCompany provides group life insurance at no costCOBRA reimbursement for salaried employees until health insurance eligiblePaid HolidaysBirthday off with pay!Pet InsuranceGenerous employee discountsThis posting is intended for candidates that reside in the following states:
