We are currently seeking a Per Diem Psychiatrist to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland. The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.Qualifications•Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required•Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry •Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure•Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration•Ability to pass credentialing and background checkAvailable ShiftWeekdaysDay ShiftNo nights, holidays or weekendsWe offer competitive compensation rates and paid malpractice insurance for our per diem employees.Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
