Provide occupational therapy treatments, conduct thorough assessments, and customize care plans to address each individual's unique needs.Provide treatment and consultation in the areas of motor function and development, activities of daily living, oral-motor dysfunction and dysphagia.Assess the need for adaptive equipment, seating and positioning systems and therapy intervention as needed.Maintain accurate records on treatments and procedures.Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures while delivering optimal patient care.Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.Any other duties as assigned.
