Responsible for the provision of physical therapy consultation, evaluation and services to clients.Provide treatment in the areas of motor function and development, mobility and ambulation skills.Assess the need for adaptive equipment, mobility aids, seating and positioning systems and therapy interventions as needed.Complete reports or assessments/evaluations and progress notes utilizing facility's approved documentation forms in the residents chart.Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures while delivering optimal patient care.Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.Any other duties as assigned.
