Weintraub Tobin is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become a key member of the Firm’s Administrative Team who will report directly to the Managing Partner. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, project costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private or institutional financing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership in and continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial decisions
Ensure the credibility of the Finance group by providing timely monthly reporting and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts of revenue and cash flow
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory issues
Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners so as to identify their unique needs and seek a full range of business solutions to support them
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities being considered. Anticipate and help collect appropriate information to help make better business decisions.
Manage and improve processes for financial forecasting, budges and consolidation and reporting to the company
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance overall financial performance
Manage all outside service provider relationships and negotiate best rates annually
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA highly desirable
10 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization with staff at remote locations essential

Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

Highest level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
PC proficiency is essential (MS Office environment) and strong working knowledge of software accounting systems.
