DescriptionThe Product Manager (PM) will work closely with our Sales, Engineering, Operations and Marketing organizations to manage the rapidly growing Electric tool and Pneumatic tool product lines. The candidate should have strong experience in customer and sales facing product management as well as team based new product development. The Product Manager will be the primary point of contact for the product lines and will represent the voice of the customer. Working closely with management and engineering to develop product strategies, road maps, requirements documents, set priorities and support product development planning from beginning to end. Will be required to manage multiple development activities simultaneously. The PM will provide source documentation for our product and marketing in launch of new products and maintenance of existing products. The individual will support sales, customer service and operations with training on new products, forecasting and quality improvement.Primary ResponsibilitiesMaintain ownership and focus on assigned Electric and Pneumatic Tool product linesPrimary responsibility for product development prioritization, schedules, tracking and reportingPrimary point of contact on assigned product lines, supporting customers, sales & customer serviceDevelop new product requirement documents for products based on customer feedback, industry requirements and other inputs.Providing PM leadership to cross-functional teams in the development of new and improved productsDevelop business plans as needed to ensure viability.Develop source material for product use and marketing documentationWork closely with sales, marketing, and management to pursue all sales opportunities.Work closely with sales and marketing on product field testingMaintain a current knowledge of relevant industry standards and competitor activitiesDevelop and maintain technical and market expertise in products and marketsTravel Domestic and International (to vendors, customers, & tradeshows)QualificationsBS/MS in Engineering or BS Business with technical experience will be consideredMBA or MS Management preferredPMP – Project Management Professional or project management experience a plus3+ years’ experience in industrial product management3+ years’ experience in new product development project managementDemonstrated experience managing a multiple product/project portfolioStrong leadership skills, demonstrated ability to team build and collaborate with othersStrong customer relationship skills, business development, sales/marketing experienceExtensive customer and sales facing experience product managementProficiency in MS Power Point, Excel, Word, Project, and DynamicsExcellent communication and team skills
