Basic Function:

Leads the Account Management Team, overseeing all project-level management, as directed by Sales or Business Development, as well as overall customer relationship. Projects scope include post-feasibility work for all existing, revised, or new projects. Works closely with Customers, Planning, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Distribution.

Responsibilities:Leads, harmonizes, develops, and mentors a team of 3 experienced Account Managers.Interfaces with Sales, Customers, Planning, Operations, QA, and Distribution, in the development and execution of new projects and existing projects to ensure deadlines are met.Works closely with Procurement and Distribution Departments to ensure on-time incoming and outgoing deliveries.At times, partners with Procurement to obtain price quotes and lead times.Effectively establishes lines of communication with the customers in areas of support and service.Manages 2-3 strategic accounts in day-to-day activities, inquiries, and production timelines.Assists quality in retrieving requirements for Batchpak and gathering customer requirements for new projects and project specifications.Meets with the Planning and Operations team to review production schedules for manufacturing.Reviews customer order activity, requests customer forecasts for long-term strategic planning.Partners with the Business Development team to receive launch projects at the time of business award (or earlier), and ensure seamless customer/project onboarding.Partners with Business Development and Costing to ensure quotes are completed in a timely fashion.Onboards and relays training for Customer specific requirements (portals, SAP input, L’Oreal Blue Books, etc.).Facilitates continuous improvement practices to support department and staff goals.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science Degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience.Seven (7) years relevant experience in a manufacturing and/or brand environment.People Leadership/Development and Cross-Functional skills a must.Experience managing large matrix-organizational customers such as SCJ, J&J/Kenvue, L’Oreal, Unilever preferred.Strong skills in relevant manufacturing information systems.Strong analysis tools experience (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, Outlook), and comfortable managing, dissecting, and presenting large data sets.Ability to successfully manage projects by demonstrating strong analytical, time management, follow-up, and communication skills.Understands supply chain principles established to meet objectives of our internal and external customers.Experience in flexible packaging a plus.
