What we're looking for
MOJO is an early stage company with venture capital and many influential investors that is seeking to disrupt the youth sports space. In less than 150 days on the market, MOJO gained real traction and attention, winning the 2021 Webby Award for best sports app. Given this, we're seeking an intellectually curious, self-driven marketing manager who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment.In this role, you will help develop and execute marketing campaigns and own day-to-day marketing activities, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. This requires partnering closely with the Head of Marketing and Brand and the Content and Design teams to build best-in-class marketing campaigns and operations. You will support MOJO’s consumer acquisition and retention goals.This role reports directly to MOJO’s Head of Marketing and Brand.Responsibilities
Working with Head of Marketing and Brand and the Content and Design teams, develop briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.Manage content and updates for customer and internal touchpoints, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional support.Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly.Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs and strategies.Experience and Skills
Passion for marketing and storytelling and obsessing the details of a message, campaign, and story.Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.Exceptional problem-solver and analytical thinker with ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.Excellent communication, prioritization, listening, and organizational skills.Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Bachelor’s degree from a top college or university.Authorized to work in the United States.The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, cool under pressure, and will ask questions as often as necessary to get it right. As MOJO launched its first product in 2021, this position requires strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. S/he has previous experience working within a collaborative environment with external facing responsibilities.
