People| Excellence | Change | Integrity | Co-prosperityThe Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the Custom Install (CI) Dealer base and Rep Firm support, to maximize revenue attainment of Samsung TV, AV, and Commercial Display products. This role will report to the Director of Sales. Together, this team is charged with driving sales initiatives of both Home Entertainment (HE) and Commercial Display (EBD) product lines to the CI channel. As the regional CI Dealer lead, the Sales Manager will oversee all CI dealers and Rep Firm partners, analyze and organize data reporting, and be accountable to management. Key to the success in this role includes business planning, expand sell-in/sell-through activities, develop sales growth strategies, execute sales promotional planning, and frequent business updating and reporting. Role also involves sales and marketing program development, execution and audit.Background/Experience:The candidate should possess relevant experience in consumer and /or commercial AV products, AV dealer and distribution channels, and understanding of strategic sales collaboration within a distribution fed sales organization. Ideal candidates will have experience with an established CE/IT brand, and understanding of AV solution sales channels and two-step go-to-market strategies. The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and client management skills, and be proficient in business management systems, along with MS Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. This position may require flexible working hours beyond normal schedule including up to 40%+ travel for customer visits, events and industry trade events.Necessary Skills:The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize business plans and programs, and achieve sales performance objectives within established time frames and requirements. Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including business and technical matters as needed, along with developing business relationships with both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate has established experience with sales management of Consumer Electronics /IT brands and markets, dealer and/or distribution channels, and an understanding of AV solution sales.Responsibilities:Sales Manager responsibility for assigned portfolio of Custom Install Dealers and Representative Firms include maintaining the integrity of the consumer and commercial division strategies, implementation and execution of sales and marketing programs, and attaining the sales goals for the assigned segment. Position is responsible for engaging with all levels of the organization, both internal and external, and within Custom Install channel.

Monthly/annual sales plan achievement

Overall segment strategy implementation; execution of Samsung brand, support of all sales and marketing objectives

Daily representative firm contact in all regions of portfolio assigned

Daily customer contact; maintaining current and developing new opportunities

Management of sell-in and sell-through sales activities

Administration of sales orders, program execution and validation, and channel communication

Organize reporting for management review

Monthly travel throughout territory

Organize, prepare and present executive summaries/ quarterly business review meetings for each representative firm in territory

Support and develop Sales Managers on the Custom Install Team

Collaborate with sales managers, product marketing and supply chain teams

Execution of Assigned Special Projects as needed to drive overall sales performance of the team, included but not limited to:Buying group project management that bridges all territories

Key Sales tool initiatives that bridge all territories

Presentation of group projects internally

Project lead for new initiatives within a team

Project lead for groups/teams that are multiple dealer/cross territory facing

Customer problem resolution

Monthly and rolling detailed segment analytics; TAM, sales results

Support (and attend) distributor and industry events

Qualification Requirements:Bachelor Degree preferred but not required

6+ years of previous relatable Customer Install Channel Manufacturer Sales experience, Consumer Electronics or IT account management experience, and/or experience in CE Distribution where advanced data analytics skills, organizational skills, decision making abilities, taking initiative, and timely follow-up were critical to driving business results

Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally

Experience with large partners/portfolio in excess of $50M

Ability to travel within the US up to 40% of the time

Advanced PowerPoint skills and outstanding presentation and sales skills

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look ups, and data analysis)

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $137,500 and $155,000.
