Sr Product Marketing Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Imperva marketing organization is looking for a true PRODUCT MARKETING Manager to join the Product Marketing team.
This key member of the team will understand and represent the customer, and define the corresponding end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Imperva application security – SecureSphere and Incapsula products. Working alongside product management, sales, and business development teams, you will apply your domain and functional expertise to execute the end-to-end marketing plan that effectively communicates this value to customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Work hand-in-hand with product management to introduce new products and services.
·
Own creation and execution of the end-to-end marketing plan.
·
Define the content strategy (tools, collateral, social media, competitive, etc.) that articulates the value of Imperva application security offerings.
·
Lead the cross-functional team developing content, including a “roll up your sleeves” role in content creation.
·
Serve as an industry spokesperson and advocate in championing Imperva offerings to customers and the security industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
·
Has initiative and passion and is excited to take ownership and drive strategy.
·
Proven track record of developing productive relationships across, product marketing, product management, corporate marketing, sales/SEs and CTO office.
·
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
·
Experience presenting to customers, analysts and press, and industry groups to present the company and product vision and build awareness.
·
Ability to translate complex concepts and technologies into business-oriented value propositions.
·
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
·
Ability to work with a globally dispersed, cross cultural team.
·
5-7 years of experience in a B2B product marketing role, ideally for compliance or security products.
·
Desirable experience: MBA degree; familiarity with enterprise security customers; familiarity with enterprise web and mobile applications
