Job DescriptionViridian Staffing's Client is looking for an exceptional people manager to come in as the Sales Manager to train and help set up for success the sales team of a Cannabis Distribution company in the Southern California market.
Founded in 2013, Viridian Staffing (www.viridianstaffing.com) is the original, professional staffing, recruiting, and HR consulting firm solely dedicated to organizations in and supporting the commercial, medical, and industrial cannabis / hemp industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for partnering closely with Leadership to develop and implement a sales strategy to accommodate forecasted goals. You will have the opportunity to use your proven leadership skills, to train, inspire and motivate a sales representative. You will use your 1+ years of Sales Leadership and Training experience to establish quotas and goals for your team, based upon the KPIs and sales metrics you establish from Leadership's analysis of market data. Using your ability to develop and cultivate key account relationships, you will drive sales for the company. If you are a wizard at drafting, reporting, and analyzing sales data & are excited about professionally representing a respected cannabis brand at in store retail events in the Los Angeles and Orange county areas, this could be the right position for you.
You should have CRM experience and proven verbal and written communication skills. You'll be bringing with you at least 3+ years of experience in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) or Food & Beverage Industry, along with at least 1+ years of experience training AND managing a team of Sales Representatives. You also have 1+ year of experience selling into Cannabis retail stores in the Southern California area.
Pay Range: $60K-$100K/year
