Job Description
A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Sales Manager role. Our client, a leading medical device company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you're dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be your perfect role. Responsibilities include:
1) Plan and submit sales quota by country
2) Work with the President to develop business plans to achieve sales quotas, including quarterly sales forecasts
3) Evaluate distributor track records to analyze monthly sales vs quotas
4) Provide recommendations and support to the distributors to achieve sales objectives
5) Evaluate the pricing of products and provide recommendations as necessary
6) Train distributors on company surgical tables
7) Identify and work with distributors who display substandard sales, product and procedural knowledge
8) Educate and build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and surgeons in the territory
9) Design incentive programs for surgeons
10) Prepare weekly reports on business activities, contacts and expenses incurred and submit them to the President for his review and discussion
11) Participate in Weekly GST Business Review and Planning Meetings and present reports on sales results, analysis, opportunities and forecasts
12) Create a Surgical Hospital and Surgical Center Database with corresponding sales volume and product line penetration by region
13) Work with the Customer Service, Marketing and Inventory Operation teams to ensure fast customer support and quick turnaround to enable future opportunities
14) Work with the Product Marketing team to convey product information to the distributors and customers
15) Attend trade shows, laboratories and conferences, as necessary
16) Act as the focal point of the registration process and proactively work with suppliers and doctors to assist the process
17) Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments, as required
18) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales management
