5+ years of experience in software development across multiple platforms especially including ecommerce/transactional site and applications across a range of devices3+ years IT experience in the retail industry preferredCapable of collaborative iteration in a fast-paced environment with short product life cyclesExperience with responsive website design and development, including cross and back browser usabilityExpertise in web applications and programming languages including HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and APIsExperience with PHP and/or JAVAExperience with Ajax, XML, XSLT a plusExperience working with CMS platforms such as AEM, WordPress, and/or DrupalKnowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as React, Bootstrap, Angular, Polymer, Closure or BackboneFamiliarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniquesProven track record demonstrating collaboration with UX researchers and designers, marketers, merchandisers, product managers and front-end developerSolid understanding of UX, SEO/SEM and accessibility best practicesIn-depth knowledge of industry best practices and trends including emerging digital platforms and related mediability and desire to learn new tools and technologiesExperience with Scrum and Agile methodologiesExperience with Internet or mobile usability/accessibility research is a plusExperience in A/B testing set-up and strategiesSkills & Responsibilities:

Provide team management, leadership, and directionCollaborate with business, engineering, and support teams to resolve operational issuesDefine common UI Pattern Libraries with collaboration from design teamDefine and build reusable component libraryWork with designers and developers accountable to maintain standard UI pattern librarydvocate of User Centered Design principles and processespply knowledge of and translate trends in usability, constituent needs and business objective strategies, standards, solutions, and resultsDevelop digital web properties with an emphasis on providing an exceptional user experience including agility through responsive designParticipate in the resource demand and planning processes and drive Code Quality initiativesDevelopment representative to stakeholders outside of the team, and the go-to individual for day-to-day front-end technology questionsOversee the UI development team Maintain and enhance current UI architecture to improve usability, performance, and scalabilityDrive software development activities to meet schedules and timelinesResearch problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problemsConduct unit testing and integration testing for functionalityResearch new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technologyWork with documentation and internal teams, including Product and Project Management, Design, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance to deliver high-quality, complete software releasesDevelop a thorough understanding of Client's policies, procedures and safety rulesDuties may change; team members may be required to perform other duties as assigned
