Job Summary

The business development manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving and directing business sales & marketing to ensure Restoration 1 is the 1st Choice when a water, fire or mold problem occurs. The BDM will be required to manage their own routing and daily call logs. Presenting R1 services to a variety of target customers and industries. The BDM will be in an environment where all employees practice accountability, reliability, and proactivity in their approach. Specifically, the incumbent will manage themselves with focus on service excellence as a priority with all existing clients, national accounts support and continuous growth in the acquisition of new client accounts.

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and ensure that the R1 Brand is recognized throughout the territories assigned.Report on progress towards short & long-term goals with overall company objectives.Work with Ops Manager and Owner to establish clear standards of performance and budgets for each business unit and/or client account.Be self-motivating and tenacious when selling R1's services and brand.Supervise and manage accounts for follow up and activity. Comply with assigned deadlines/schedules.Exceeding expectations of client accounts and demonstrating a genuine interest in the client's wellbeing.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with managers to review key deliverables and actual performance relative to projected expectations.Qualifications

1-3 years sales or BDM experience preferably in property insurance, services, or other related sales. Restoration sales experience a plus.Nice to have : 1-3 years Project Management and Estimating experience.Experienced at reading, interpreting, and managing financial statements and establishing sales goals.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small or large group situations to customers, homeowners, and employees in the organization.Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make prudent decisions.Strong knowledge of MS Office, RMS, PowerPoint, Publisher and Xactimate (a plus)

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
