What You'll Do
As a member of our Grounds Maintenance team, you'll provide a variety of duties related to construction, installation, maintenance, upkeep, beautification and repair of Cemetery Grounds and environment.
Duties will also include:
Meet performance standards established with the employee's manager Supervise employees assigned to your location and help others were needed Perform general maintenance and repairs to Cemetery Grounds Operate powered equipment such as mowers, trimmers, edgers, sod cutters, chain saw etc. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, clippers, saws etc. Install and maintain sprinkler systems, perform landscape construction and maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, aerating, pruning, landscape and planting trees, shrubs, sod flowers, and lawn seed Assist in burials at grave sites Remove snow from walks, driveways and park lots Spread salt as necessary Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
What We'll Love About You One year of experience related field preferred Valid Utah Driver License Knowledge maintenance equipment such as mowers, aerators, trimmers, etc. Know sprinkler systems design and installation Safety precautions associated with equipment operations Interpersonal communication skills ability to communicate both verbally and writing Ability develop effective working relationships with supervisor subordinates and public What You'll Love About Us
