Position Summary

Hôtel Swexan is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our dynamic Rooms Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests.

It is more than cleaning rooms, but rather having an eye for detail to ensure all guest rooms are clean and up to standard. The Guest Room Attendant anticipate, customize, and service guest's needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all available dining options.

Responsibilities

Follow proper payroll and key sign-out procedures.

Keep all guest rooms/patios neat, vacuumed, mopped, and dusted.Clean toilets, showers/tubs, countertops, sinks, mirrors, walls, and windows.Carry caddy, bucket, and vacuum from room to room.Carry linen, both clean and soiled, from guest rooms to landing areas.Remove trash from guest rooms to landing areas.Re-supply guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collateral.Make guest room beds.Fold and replenish guest room towels.Walk, stand, bend, squat, and lift throughout the entire shift.Push/pull housekeeping cart.Requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.Communicate and answer guest requests.Be well informed of all aspects of the hotel.Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping.Assist in putting on bed skirts and turning mattresses.Employ proper use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies.Ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the -highest quality of service.Offer assistance to guests when requested or needed.Complete any project assigned by a supervisor or manager.

To immediately report and hand into the Security Office any guest property found in a vacant guest room.Reports anything or anyone suspicious and a Health and Safety hazard to a supervisor or SecurityTo maintain a high standard of personal appearance - ensuring that your uniform is clean and presentable. Hair should be clean and tidy.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

1-2 years' experience in a luxury hotel preferred.Ability to understand and working knowledge of English.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.High attention to detail and customer service skillsCandidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
