The responsibilities of the Tax Senior position include working directly with other BNN tax professionals, our clients, and other advisors to prepare federal and state income tax returns. You will also utilize tax research tools to help determine the proper tax treatment of a variety of client transactions.Competencies and Position RequirementsDedicated to high-caliber client serviceExcellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skillsDemonstrates ability to manage tax engagements to a successful and efficient completionConverses comfortably and professionally with various levels of client managementMeets deadlines while meeting or exceeding quality requirementsDemonstrates advanced knowledge of tax preparation at both the federal and state(s) levels, including but not limited to returns of individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsDemonstrates creativity and resourcefulness in resolving problems and preparing analysesPrioritizes workload and assists staff in developing prioritization skillsMotivates staff via professional and technical reputation, enthusiasm, and positive attitudeEducation and ExperienceTwo or more years’ experience in taxation with a public accounting firmMasters or other form of 150 college credit hours with requisite accounting related courses (Bachelor degrees may be considered)Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greaterAbility to work a flexible schedule based on business needsHybrid and remote work optionSupportive and collaborative cultureBNN strongly believes in maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
