Who We Are:What Were Looking For:Our Buying & Planning team is searching for a hands-on analyst who can add value to our organization and be a critical part of our continued growth. The perfect candidate for this role is inquisitive and gets excited about finding critical data and using it to ensure we are able to deliver our products to our customers through thoughtful reporting. This person needs to be an expert with spreadsheets and have the ability to compile important data and provide actionable insights through the data they find. Overall, this person will be responsible for assisting with demand forecasting and management of product replenishment. They will work on pricing & markdown timelines, assist the design team in new product development, help manage third party marketplace inventory and the development of key accounts with regard to planning and forecasting.To Summarize, You Will:* Track daily and weekly in-season sell-through data and track performance by product and category.* Report on previous month/quarter/annual results.* Identify and inform product development and design teams of missed opportunities and growth drivers.* Assist with the planning, demand forecasting, product recommendations, and execution of purchase orders for all brands under RuffleButts.* Work with the Planning Manager to plan, oversee and execute all inventory management, increasing revenues and decreasing costs.* Perform statistical analysis using historical data and current trends, recommending strategies to achieve our organizational goals and objectives.* Analyze sales & inventory data to determine pricing strategies - both for new product release, as well as markdown schedules for existing items.* Develop a strong understanding of our eCommerce business and advise the organization on proper courses of action to achieve planning and financial goals.* Assist with developing, updating and enhancing tools and processes that support financial forecasting and product planning.What You Need for this Position:* 3-5 years experience in Apparel Buying, Merchandising, or Planning; experience in eCommerce or children's apparel a plus!* Strong quantitative and Excel skills; experience with business intelligence tools a plus!
