** Inventory Analyst****Job Category****:** Inventory Management **Requisition Number****:** INVEN001423 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Responsibilities:*** Delivers budgeted backorder and sold out rates.* Utilizes trend and historical data to create accurate forecasts.* Performs rear-view mirror analysis of prior offers and selling trends to use as a predictive model for future forecasts.* Executes purchase orders as needed to reduce the creation of back orders.* Manage inventory/SKU relationships at appropriate level.* Develops reports that assess the effectiveness of Company inventory investments.* Possesses data mining skills needed for in depth analysis of selling trends by channel.* Evaluates, Identifies, plans and executes eCommerce opportunities not related to catalog efforts.* Renegotiates pricing on large orders to maximize savings and increase margin potential..**Desired Skills and Qualifications:*** Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related or equivalent experience.* 3+ years demand forecasting experience; direct marketing environment field highly preferred.* Strong computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database programs, and report writing. Ability to develop and refine reporting and tracking tools.* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse audience.* Strong customer service orientation (internal and external).* Results oriented with good planning, organizational and time-management skills.
