Retail Inventory Receiver

The Retail Inventory Receiver is the heart of the enterprise's retail stores. This position is responsible for receiving deliveries, tagging, labeling, and moving inventory to its correct location. The Retail Inventory Receiver possesses an extreme sense of urgency, organization and multi-tasking capabilities in order to successfully support the needs of the Retail Department. In this position, there are individual responsibilities as well as team work. This position is also responsible for monitoring loss and damages, and additionally securing fragile and high-risk merchandise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Receives shipments, checks for damages, sorts and tags inventory for distribution to correct location; fills orders by taking items from Service Center and prepares them for delivery in specified time frame; keeps organized records of invoices sent and received.
2. Prepares and suggests par levels to meet needs of each location; upkeep with movement of merchandise in stores, storage, and at Service Center to keep all inventory levels filled.
3. Assists in execution of special events to enhance brand loyalty.
4. Protects enterprise assets and minimizes loss according to enterprise standards and operating procedures, inventory control and loss prevention.
5. Maintains storage cleanliness and adheres to health and safety measures; including food rotation and temperature control of all cold items. Responsible for positive weekly audits and cleaning checklists.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a warehouse or receiving environment, preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel necessary.
Experience using any inventory management program, preferred.
Ability to work in a challenging environment that can assist in implementing and suggesting improvements to guarantee inventory and receiving accuracy.
Food handling experience preferred
Internal and external guest service; Ability to thrive in a guest centric environment.
Employee must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion as they will have access to private information such as Social Security Numbers, credit cards, personal data or financial data from colleagues, personnel or customers.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's license with acceptable driving record as defined by the enterprise insurance carrier.
The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including secondhand smoke.
