TIAG is now hiring an experienced
Full Stack Software Developer
to join our team full time in support of the Marine Corps in Charleston, SC. The Developer will support efforts to optimize Marine Corps logistical planning. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance.This is a hybrid position, with at least 2x a week onsite required in Charleston, SC.Position Responsibilities
Design and develop robust full-stack web applications using Python and modern front-end technologies.Write reusable, testable, and efficient code to develop functional and scalable web services and APIs.Containerize applications using Docker, ensuring they are lightweight, portable, and easy to deploy.Deploy and manage applications in the AWS cloud environment, utilizing services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and CloudFormation.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end developers, and UX/UI designers, to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.Ensure application security by integrating security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Monitor deployed applications, troubleshoot and resolve any issues in a timely manner, and optimize performance for scalability.Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.Required Experience
Active DoD Secret ClearanceBachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, and frameworks/libraries like React or Angular.Experience with Docker, including building, shipping, and running applications in containers.Proven track record of deploying and managing applications on AWS, with familiarity with AWS services and best practices.Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache), and UI/UX design principles.Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.TIAG is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
