Aqueity is looking for a

Business Development Representative to join our team. For the past 28 years, Aqueity has been providing exceptional IT managed services and cybersecurity solutions to a variety of businesses. Due to tremendous growth, we are looking for a business developer to join our sales team and engage prospects.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated to achieve weekly goals (50-75 calls per day)and be willing to schedule appointments for the sales team.

This position is

onsite

and based in Lombard, IL, with a national territory.Compensation is competitive, with base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities:Prospect outreach - cold call targeted prospects to share the Aqueity story about IT managed service and cyber security servicesGenerate leads by executing the initial steps of Aqueity's sales play bookAlign activities and follow-up efforts with marketing initiatives (e.g. calls into webinar attendees)Collaborate with marketing and subject matter experts to fine-tune messaging and approachPromote brand awareness in the tech spaceMaintain outreach records and key performance metrics to enable forecastingDisplay confidence and tenacity in securing meetings with targeted organizations and individualsRequirements:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales including cold calling, preferably in IT or professional servicesExceptional communication skills, verbally and written requiredProven ability to communicate and understand IT products/service offerings; exhibits technical literacy and has a passion for technology and computersRelevant experience prospecting in IT or technology related products or solutions strongly preferredSolid work history with proven track record of lead generationDisplays a high degree of resiliency, thriving in dealing with challengesComfortable working independently and when needed as part of a larger pursuit teamHigh sense of urgency and success working in a fast-paced environmentIdeal candidate has a 4-year college degree in technology, business, or sales/marketingCOMPENSATION: $50-70k plus bonus related to set appointments
