Job Summary:

Lerch Bates is hiring a Field Inspector to bring in-depth

elevator knowledge

and provide an essential service for the company. The field inspector will ensure all inspections and subsequent reports are completed in a timely manner.

What You'll Do:

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict management's assignments.

Independent inspections of elevators and escalators across designated regions.Develops and

manages weekly schedules based on the needs of clients

and consultants who will be requesting the inspections.Assist consultants

with site inspections for modernization surveys as needed.Provide pictures and survey notes to the PM

to review and develop the final report for the client.What You'll Bring:

Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance

of the conveyance equipment and current elevator code.Previous experience in the

Elevator industry ; QEI/CEI certification is highly preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detailAn ability to pay strong attention to thoroughly inspect the equipmentAn ability to work on top of
