Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of DevSecOps strategies and practices, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines for automated and secure software delivery.
Consult on and develop DevSecOps services for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure), addressing security considerations.
Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to streamline deployment processes.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, ensuring best practices for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
Utilize configuration management tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) to support efficient version control and collaboration.
Advocate for security best practices throughout the development lifecycle, employing tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and Coverity for static and dynamic scanning.
Provide expertise in UNIX environment scripting (Bash, Shell, PowerShell, Perl, Python, Ruby) to automate and optimize DevSecOps processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the DevSecOps culture, utilizing tools like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, and Jenkins for project tracking and management.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continually enhance our DevSecOps practices.
Education, Degrees, and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Requirements:
10 years of IT development experience
5 years of experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
Experience building DevSecOps services in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure), with a thorough understanding of their security considerations.
Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Expertise in CI/CD best practices, automated builds and tests, quality gates, and software quality using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and branching strategies.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles, security coding standard best practices, and static and dynamic scanning tools (SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity).
Strong programming and scripting skills in a UNIX environment (Bash, Shell, PowerShell, Perl, Python, Ruby).
Agile/SAFe certification or equivalent experience.
