We also provide a range of strategic and marketing consulting services to corporate clients.The RoleThe Senior Finance Business Analyst (Lead) is a full-time position responsible for analyzing finance system business problems and implementing solutions in our corporate technology platforms. The business analyst supports the finance user community, elicit, configure, manage requirements and specifications as well as execute a variety of testing disciplines (test plans, scripts, unit testing and user acceptance) to drive development and validate results. The Finance Business Analyst will report to the head of Corporate Applications.This role is both strategic and hands on with a strong ability to communicate objectives, configure finance systems, develop plans and deliver results.ResponsibilitiesLead requirements, product configuration and user acceptance testing management on finance related systemsEvaluate the solution options, configure, demo and make recommendations within context of finance D365 F&O & other tech platforms.Work with global finance teams to deliver product configuration and support that can scale across countries.Manage small projects related to finance platformsFacilitate requirements review and design sessions with business ownersMaintain Business Use Case and Process Flows with requirement changesKey liaison between the business and technical solutions delivery teamDeliver engaging, informative, well-organized technical and business presentationsDeliver daily and weekly progress metricsTrain users in using the system according to process best practicesProvide business as usual supportRequired Capabilities10+ years of implementing D365 F&O/AX ERP applications with specific knowledge of finance accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable & finance reporting modulesAdvanced Excel skills, around data validation, pivot tables and reporting financial dataExcellence in communication, collaboration, business presentations and meeting facilitationExpert in business workflow modelingExpert in project and product planningThorough understanding of GAAP accountingThorough understanding of SOXThorough understanding of source control, unit testing, and continuous integration practicesThorough understanding of relational database designDesired CapabilitiesExperience with planning tools such as Oracle HFM, WorkivaExperience using SAP ConcurExperience and skilled in SQL and other query languages.Experience with Lean and Agile (Scrum) development methodologiesLocation:This role will be based in our Los Angeles, CA office.Compensation:The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $143,000 - $178,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
