Reports to: Director of Sales and Member ExperienceSupervises: Assistant Branch Manager, Concierge, Member Services RepresentativeStatus: ExemptObjectiveThe Branch Manager is responsible for planning and directing all branch-related activities that affect the public relations and corporate image of the Credit Union. This high-contact sales and leadership position requires the ability to deal effectively with members and associates in person, by telephone and in writing along with the ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, supervise and effectively schedule the branch office staff and their daily activities in servicing the membershipAssist members with any service or sales related activities to ensure they enhance the financial lives of the members they serveLead, motivate, coach, and develop the sales staffProvide consistent and ongoing support to the sales staffMonitor sales activity of the Credit Union and administer sales incentive programsMaintain and improve the quality of the Credit Union’s financial products and servicesMaintain employee time records and report any missed work, cash discrepancies or scheduled days offEnsure that security procedures are followedDevelop a working knowledge of the Credit Union’s data processing systemOversee the branch facilityDevelop thorough knowledge of lending and financial servicesRegister with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) and maintain and renew the registration in addition to completing related compliance training as directed by KEMBAAssist in other areas as directed by Credit Union managementDevelop an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational proceduresOn a self-directed basis, continue to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programsMust be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions:

Cultivate and foster community and outside business relationships to grow and maintain current book of business. Manage and lead the branch’s Select Employee Group (SEG) program by working closely with the companies that consider KEMBA their credit unionRequired QualificationsUndergraduate degree in Business or Finance or related education and experienceThree to five years of managerial experienceOne to two years in a sales environmentStrong organizational skillsDesired QualificationsPrevious experience in a branch management or assistant branch management capacityTeller and account assistance experiencePhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
