Achieves sales goals by hiring and training employees and coaching them to develop their selling skills. Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.Develops and manages a team of Sales Representatives with the goal to hit departmental and individual quotas.Qualifies and educates prospects about BenefitMall solutions based upon their needs.Documents and reports all sales activity.Communicates the progress and/or concerns of potential and existing customers to the sales team on a daily/weekly basis.Openly communicates all concerns and questions to the Market Director.Provides continuous training to the Sales Representatives.Ability to step in and assist the Sales Representative to answer broker questions.Occasional long, irregular hours.Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.Other duties as assigned by manager.Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Group 1 / Life & Health License is required.Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5-7 years of group health insurance experience required.In-depth knowledge of group insurance products preferably attained through working in an insurance marketing or selling role.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; proficient with web browsers.Extensive knowledge of sales techniques.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.Read, comprehend, and interpret moderately complex documents including sales, underwriting, and Company guidelines.Develop and maintain good working relationships and provide positive customer service.Analyze and resolve problems to assist agents/brokers in presenting the best solution to prospective clients.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to determine when situations need to be escalated.General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation:
